We have had Great Danes for more than 20 years as companion dogs and house pets, of course always being carefull to obtain the best quality, but it wasn't until about 8 years ago that we decided to enter in the world of showing dogs.
Our Kennel is very International we have dogs imported from the United States and Canada, that we have picked ourselves, from kennels with whom we have established a great friendship. Our object is to widen the bloodlines in Mexico and open the Mexican bloodlines. This is why we do breed outside our kennel. This is why we have litters with different caracteristics; such as puppies with elegance and style and with more bone structure and wider features, combining the American type and the European type.
Our dogs are not raised in kennels they are raised in our home with us from day one until they no longer with us, this is a great advantage, since this way they learn to be clean at a young age, housebroke and when they go to a new home they have no problem being indoor dogs and becoming a part of the family, which their new owner like very much.In our home each of our dogs have their own cage which measures 1mt.wide by 1.50 mts. long and 1.50 mts. tall with a foam rubber matress about 4 inches thick linned first with plastic and then with a sheet all held together with tape so that when it comes time to change the bedding to be washed it is very easy.
Each dogs has his own space which gives him security and comfort and also helps to take care of their elbows and bone structure. We try our best to care for their physical apprerance the best way we can so they can be presentable, and not have calouses on their elbows.
They have their own space for resting, exercising and recreation, they each go outside individually to do their necesities and stretch their muscules about 5 or 6 times daily or more if necesary.
Many people ask us if Great danes need lots of space, the truth is a Great Dane is a lazy dog but they also like to run and jump like anyother dog but they tire fast they are not hiperactive dogs, this is why a Great Dane may live in an apartment as long as he is taken out to exercise or for a long walk at least twice a day besides going out to relieve him or her self.

The Great Dane is an intelligent dog, (no offense to other dog) calm and noble but he knows when to be alert and defend his owners and anyone who lives with him on a day to day basis. They also have the gift to make you fall in love with them forever and they easily become a part of your family which they know how to appreciate anything you do for them, giving you love and affection. A Dane is a friend forever.
